The last two times I have been out there have been birds working and fish just to the east of the 121 cut. Couldn't have had a better time last night when I got my 7-year old boy and 5-year old girl on fish for the first time ever. Both got to reel in their own fish. It was awesome. Only regret is that we didn't get back out there tonight.
A special thanks to the fishermen that let us sneak in behind them last night. I didn't have my trolling motor with us (seems my mounting bolt has disappeared bang) and they didn't mind my having to fire up the big motor a couple of times to be able to keep the kiddos in striking range not too far from where they were anchored down and catching fish.
