I have not, but I have been through there to fish East Bay several times recently. All I can tell you is there were more people at R/O the week before this big system came in than I have seen since the fall crowds. Not sure what they were catching but there was obviously some action, b/c it was pretty crowded.

You better go as many times as you can because it's looking that they are going to close it. It looks serious this time around.

You know you would think that TP&W and the Corps of Engineers would take a look at the RECENT data surrounding the reopening of Cedar Bayou to Mesquite Bay and the amazing, very rapid, changes in fish stock in that area and take that as a clue to NOT close Rollover. They have before and after studies of fish stocks and the effects of the closed pass vs. the open pass from both A&M and UT as well as TP&W. East bay is going to be come a high saline dead zone. Don't give up, everyone needs to keep fighting! Bring up these recent and very pertinent studies from 2014-2015 of the differences in a system after reopening a 23 year closure.

Monster trout and flounder are being caught now. Hurry before the city shuts it down.
Fishing is fun and adictive, but always stay safe. Happy Fishing! How do you add a photo...

Don't think the TPWD can do anything about it, the politicians have gotten involved now. The transplant Bush from Florida is gonna do what's in his best future financial political interest.
