Haven't really heard if arrowhead has picked up any. might try the barge at kickapoo later, so i dont have to deal with the wind.

I fished Arrowhead Monday and caught ten, fished today and caught seven. There is so much to fish that I can't find any concentrations where I have caught them in the past. The one female that I caught today looked to be about half way spawned out.

I had very little luck at kickapoo only one keeper, still a lot of small ones being caught at the barge. Went to arrowhead state park for a couple hours after that lot of little sand bass around the pier. Thanks for the info hickory nut.

Caught 22 today from 5 PM until 630 PM at Arrowhead. All but three were throw backs. The three we kept were females with a few eggs left. Caught at 11ft over 30 ft on Creme Green/Chartreuse tube jigs. Water temp was 71. Wind picked up at 630 and the bite turned off pretty quickly.

I will be at Kickapoo Wed or Thurs and will report when I get home....last week it was all males in 2-4 feet of water. They are definitely more scattered this year due to high water and abundant cover. It's great for the fisheries, but not so great for the ffishermen.

I am a tube fisherman and havnt found a decent number of fish in my trips to arrowhead. I fish west side all the time. I think the water going up and down and the increased amount of cover is making it tough. Been tube fishing for 30+ years and never had such a hard time finding fish.

I know what you mean, I fish from the bank or the pier out at the state park, and haven't caught one keeper at arrowhead this year. Have had a little better luck at kickapoo. But not much only caught ten keepers this year. I am a tube fisherman and havnt found a decent number of fish in my trips to arrowhead. I fish west side all the time. I think the water going up and down and the increased amount of cover is making it tough. Been tube fishing for 30+ years and never had such a hard time finding fish.
