Opinion: if I'm fishing 100 hooks should I fish 50% perch and mudcat or 100% mudcat. Where should I hook the mudcat? Hardly any current and targeting flathead obviously.

70 hooks Perch. 30. Mudcat.
Gets closer to May June. Go with more Mudcat.
Hook them Polys, right behind Dorsel. Make a slit in the skin. Both sides.
Just big enough run hook point thru. Without dueling it.
Good-Luck.

Thanks for the input. The one thing I think I need to pay attention to is the importance of sharp hooks. It seems to be a top priority for most and I've got liters 4 years old that have definitely seen better days.
