I love spring fishing! We've been on some good fish, and creating some good memories. I was recently asked to volunteer to take some kids fishing through a Comal County program on Canyon Lake. Upon leaving the shoreline, I asked the two kids on-board some questions, and learned that neither had ever been on a boat ride, or been fishing. Watching the young girl in the pic below catch her first bass ever was special. I didn't say it was a big fish (LOL), but it was her first. If she develops until a "real fisherman", that was a 5! (Or a 6)......NO matter what size, it's always cool to see a kid catch their first fish.

The good luck continued throughout the week, and I'm expecting more to come. I was glad to see the man below in the blue coat below catch a PB. I caught a very long and lean fish (that was probably 26 inches) that if filled out with some girth, should have very well been a DD, but was just 7lbs 6 ozs.

We've had some strange conditions lately with some cold fronts and wind, but you know what they say about when "the best time to go fishing is". Check your calendar, and let's go catch some fish!!! More info on my official site below in signature line, and plenty more pics on my FACEBOOK PAGE.
