Looking for a versatile line for my 6# rod to fish anything from sandies to stripers. Any suggestions?

What rod do you have? It'll help knowing the action. However, for streamers Rio Smallmouth line for small streamers and bass bugs. Rio Grand is pretty versatile as well. Personally, I use Rio Outbound for chasing stripes. But I tend to throw big flies and fish fast action rods for the most part. But if I were to chase carp or more skittish fish, Grand or Bonefish lines are nice..

i use orvis bank shot on my tfo mini mag rod it throws big flies well majority of the time you dont need a false cast just pick and throw but you sacrifice accuracy.

elkhunter, i live in your area. I recently prefer a rio outbound intermediate sink tip for fishing in our area. Its great for sandies and stripers both. But im using mine in an 8 wt. Cant comment on it in a 6. Very good line though. Floating lines are great to have, but ive found you will catch way more fish on an intermediate sink tip or full sink intermediate. If your fishing lakes. Go full sink, if your on rivers and streams go with a sink tip.
Ive used royal wulf full sink intermediate clear lines for the longest time and love them. Just switched to the rio outbound and so far im really liking it better. Casts well, its acurate, and rio makes good lines.

Thanks spacemonkey. If you ever want to catch some bass and perch let me know. I have a tank here at the house that has pretty good fish in it.

Good question BoPro. Matching a rod to a line spells success. For example, my favorite combination right now is the SAGE Bolt 6, and the 6wt Chard Grand Slam (think it has a new name now). The Bolt is one stout rod!
