I have been using seaguar line for a long time now. But it seems like the quality isn't there anymore. Has anyone switched to a new brand of line? If so what line do you use?

I have been using Seaguar Invisix for a long time and have not noticed any quality issue with it. What issues are you having Jason?

Jason, with Seaguar Invizx, I am not sure about Red Label, I tie it on as a 6' leader in 8 pd test to 10 pd Sufix 832 braid main line.
When I occasionally get snagged and have to break off, if I am bank fishing, the Invizx leader rarely breaks. Most of the time, I pull my Uni knot at the terminal tackle end loose, the Invizx and my junction knot hold tight.
Anyway, I haven't noticed any quality deterioration. Usually, just as a general observation, a company that manufactures more of something, and has done it for longer, has better quality controls. Unless, I suppose, they are moving to newer equipment where bugs and kinks have to be worked out.

Sunline FC Sniper I only use Sunline now. I feel it's the best line on the market and the most sensitive. The Sniper is my favorite and most affordable but I love all of their lines. There's not a bad one in the bunch. I've tried all of the line brands and I've yet to find a line that I didn't like from Sunline.

For 15 and 17 pound test, Seaguar Invizx is all I use. I've never had a problem with it.

I still use InvisX on my moving lures, but have gone to Hiseas 100% fluoro for anything where sensitivity is beneficial. It is a little more dense (=more sensitive) and durable than InvizX and more manageable than AbrazX. One drawback is that Hiseas is a bit thicker diameter than a comparable-weight Seaguar; I've compensated by using lighter weight line and it doesn't seem to have negatively affected my hooksets or landings. The 20 lb Hiseas 100% fluoro is remarkably strong and it still casts pretty well considering its weight.

I use Seaguar red-label and KVD line conditioner and have never had a problem except for break-offs on light line like 8 or 10 lb. but that's it, very supple and manageable .... AND....... COST EFFECTIVE...... what's not to like?

I finally broke down and tried flouro. Got sublime. I had so many backlashes from it after 3 trips I ripped it off and went back to p-line cxx and haven't backlashes since. Not sure what the problem was but left a bad taste and don't think that I'll try flouro again
