Anyone with an OniX that did the 2.700 have an issue with after startup, the depth shows dashes for 5 plus minutes before it shows the depth in the overlay? You can see the depth by looking at the bottom and the scale on the side, but the overlay doesn't show up. Kinda wierd.

There are some glitches with the 2.700. Have not heard of that one. Report it to Humminbird.

When I first did the 2.7 upgrade my unit would show ONLY the dashes.
I reset the unit to factory default and then re-did all my options and the problem was solved.

I had to do the same thing. Very frustrating after hearing all the good things about the update. One thing I didn't check, because I'm electronically challenged, is if I lost the update setting everything to the factory defaults.

On the Onix you can export your Menu settings and after the software update you can import them back onto the unit. That's one of the beauty's of the Onix.

Anyone know if they have the bugs worked out of this version yet? They have not. It's kinda hit miss with some. Some have issues some say no issues at all. Some users have even gone back to 2.3

The CHIRP alone makes the upgrade to 2.7 worth it.
