Best I have ever heard of is a live salamander!!!!!!! That bait took like 6 or 7 sharalunkers several years ago. I have caught 4 of my 5 biggest bass on a CB. 11-8, 10.48 (scum frog), 10.12 9.18 and 9.17 all but the 2nd one on a CB. Course, I THROW it a lot, too, so could be something to do with amount of time you fish a said bait, too. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

My only 10+ attacked a topwater Ribbit frog - literally. Last year, I caught multiple 8+ bass on both 5" Pit Boss and Bomber Fat Free Shad. Also big fish on T-rigged 8-10" lizards, bucktail jigs with 8" pork eels, and 10"+ worms.

For artificial I will take a trig 8 in lizard or 10 in worm all day every day.

For me it is a big crankbait. Hard to argue with a big swimbait getting the highest percentage of it's bites from big fish though.

Mine come off either spinnerbaits or T-rig baby brush hogs or pit bosses.

Spinnerbait or a big worm for me

My PB (11.95) was on a White swim jig with white ragetail craw. The next 2 largest (9.75 and 9.14) have been on Swim baits. And all of my other big bass on Spinner baits.
