Went and tried it last weekend (19th/22nd) for crappie up in the Pecan Bayou but ended up with whites. Cold front and wind didn't make for an easy trip on the main lake, but did happen to catch some crappie on brush piles in deeper water. Hope to go out Easter weekend with a little more success. Anyone else having better luck?

I'm like you, waiting for this weekend. Everything I've heard is that they're scattered from deep brush to the creeks. Guess we'll see.....

Take a good look at what you're about to eat. It's not important to know what it is, but it is important to know what it was!

Still catching them deeper 15 ft of water, bot in the shallows yet. Probably this weekend when I am not there.

See your from Midland? I live in the Odessa area and I'm originally from Brownwood. I'll be there this weekend! Hopefully have better success. Water temp was 63-65 last weekend, but we'll see what Thursday's front and Sunday do. Hoping Friday and Saturday will produce. I've got a lakehouse in the Featherbay area, come on by when you're in the area.
