I'm not 100% sure because we hit the road pretty quick, but... I believe in D1 Larry and Dustin Junnell won with 12+lbs Paul & George 2nd 10+lbs Tommy & Richard 3rd 10+ lbs In D2, Jimmy Leonard won with like 9+lbs
AJ Matura had big fish with a 2.9lb sow! By the way, I believe that's an all-time CAT Tourney record for big fish.
Conditions were BRUTAL!!! 8 straight days of 6" per day dropping lake levels, cold front with temps in the low 40s at tourney time, and a howling North wind gusting into the 20s. Fishing was tough, even for the winners.

Those are impressive results, especially considering the conditions!
Quite a few 2lb+ crappie were caught.

As Eric stated, conditions were TOUGH. With the water temps in the low 60s the cold night temp didn't have much effect on spawning fish, but lake level dropping 6" a day and a 20 MPH north wind took it's toll. Had some of the teams been able to fish where they found fish on Thur or Fri, the winning weights would have been closer to 14 lbs. I saw several pics of fish over 2 lbs late Fri by quite a few teams. But when the waves are rolling 2 ft plus in 20 mph winds, you can't hold the boat where you want to be. I'm glad everyone stayed safe and kept to calmer water.
There were 19 teams DIV I and 10 teams DIV II. Had some first time contestants this tourney and they did very well. Congrats to all who braved the conditions and fought through a tough day.
A J Matura caught a pig that tipped the scales at 2.92 lbs. That is a CAT record for big fish. Fish were caught from 2 ft to 25 FOW. Some teams stayed with the shallow bite and the fish were still there, just not the bigger fish. Other teams targeted staging fish in deeper water and found fish on brush piles in 6-20 FOW. The Junells targeted fish on deeper trees in 20-25 FOW. The pattern was, fish were caught everywhere which is typical for March. Some fish move shallow others are waiting to go.
DIV II Jimmy Leonard 9.77 -Big Fish 2.44 Clay Gann/Todd Froebe/Langdon 9.25 Coe Parker/Jamin Castleman 8.60 Stuart Angell/Max Dukes 6.89 Ron Duran/David Cobb 6.69
DIV I Larry/Dustin Junell 12.07 Jeff Schweiterman/James Rains 10.85 Paul O'Bier/George Nelon 10.37 Tommy Ezell/Richard James 10.05 John Hernandez/Jimmy Mathis 9.82 A J /Carolyn Matura Big Fish 2.92

Sat out there on one mainlake pile trying to decide if there was a chance to fish it and the dang Northwestern drove by pulling crab pots. After that I just put it back in gear and tucked tail in the coves.
