Launched around 10:30, headed up river. My 1st fish caught 12:45. Slow times till 3:45 we had made the run out across from the dam, my boy got on the board wwith one black followed by a crappie. I ended up with 4 blacks and the boy got 3 blacks and 1 crappie on a roadrunner. All mine came off a California 420 trick worm t rig. Every bite i saw the line take off before i could tell the fish was there. Strange bites today. All in all a good trip and beautiful day, especially late..

We went Friday, buddy caught 21, all but 3 were spots, bright green grubs. We got on water around 8, and left around 1. Water temp around 52. Its getting expensive to catch these spots.

We started on the north bank as you leave the ramp, beat the bank all the way down to the cove with the big house in back, Spinning rods with 8lb line, 1/8 oz jigheads with florescent green grubs. Some were light hits, others would pull rod out of your hand. Any where there were warm rocks, the spots were there.

Ive never fished a grub for bass or 8lb line for bass. My son caught all his on a pink head roadrunner with a black beetle spin body with 10lb line.
