Are you talking about the elm fork?

Pretty tough coming back into a south wind too. I've made that trip a few times.

That's one. Hickory is another. People will get mad if I say more.

About the trash...on my way south from Firewheel there were tons and TONS of plastic grocery bags everywhere. I thought about taking a pic because it was crazy. Those things are stuck to thorn vines, tree roots all over the sides of the banks and even up to mid tree branches above my head from when it has flooded.

I'm not saying you have to clean up someone else's junk, but at least pack out what you packed in! ~Thanks!

Could some of the trash be from the tornado? I saw so much trash in one part of the creek that I have a hard time believing it was from a human. It was all in the trees and vines

The new parking lot is really on the Garland City side. I'm sure the Garland Parks and Recreation Dept would appreciate the advice of trash cans to help keep it clean.

The trash has always been there and will continue to accumulate every year.

There needs to be cameras installed to catch the litterers.

Possibly, but last year there were huge floods with all the rain. All the Dorba bike trails on the west side and all of Springfeild Park on the east side were submerged in about 8 ft of water. No kidding! It was one giant rapid through all those woods from Centerville Rd to the pavilion at Springfeild.

Yeah, this is a long creek that other creeks feed into, so it's going to end up with a ton of trash from the north part of the metroplex. The tornado debris was much further east.

From what I saw today the sand bass are everywhere. You may have to walk a little but they're not hard to find!
