LW is the closest lake to my house but I haven't fished it much; a few times from a kayak and once with a friend in his boat. I just picked up my trailer decal at Navajo's on Saturday, so I'll be out there trying to learn the lake in the coming weeks. See you out there!

Lee, WC & I fished Arlington for a few hours on Friday while I was up there. 50-51.7 degree water was the best we found even in the back of coves/pockets. Fished dam also (no bites) I had one 3 1/2 # drum on a craw worm off a lay down between some docks. Haha. No bass. Look forward to meeting you sometime. WC is fun to fish with & yes he has always got funny jokes. We have a great time fishing short 1/2 day close trips even when no bites. Give me a call sometimes & I'll go with you. My boat is at Rockwall Marine right now. Hopefully will get it back later this week. Gonna miss a prefishing trip to Amistad this weekend because my Ford 7.3 just cost me $1200 for repairs. Give me a holler anytime. Curt @ 325-998-6077. I'd like to fish Worth/Bridgeport/ & ALL the close lakes

Cal isn't just a great marine mechanic, he's a pretty darn good fisherman as well.

I fished it this morning for about 3 hours, had 1 about 2.5. Water was 52-54. Lake looked good with all the water in it. Should be a good spring if They don't let it all out.

Just trying to remember to turn my lights off backing down the ramp!

With all the additional water the lake was awfully tough this past summer. Hoping that as many are mentioning the lake gets to better shape this spring. I had planned to dust the boat of this Sunday if the weather will continue to cooperate.
