You will be amazed at the number of fish you will find once you switch over. I bought an 1199 when the prices dropped so low.
One of the best things were the "stumps" that I had fished in the past that were actually old 50' 'trees' laying on the bottom. You could see where the fish were positioned on the tree, before a jig ever went in the water.

I sure like the bright images on my Helix 9 and the size is just right. Much better than my 898 was. I like the external gps of the 898 better than the internal I have on my Helix.
Does anyone know how to network the two or even if it is possible?
Might have to give David a call to find out.

You can't go wrong with any of the side imaging units. Just like most all electronics you will get what you pay for. The bigger the screen the more money it cost. I'm just a weekend fisherman so it's hard for me to justify spending an entire weeks paycheck on one unit so I purchased a helix 5 si when they first came out and I am very pleased with this unit. There are pros and cons to every unit. You just need to figure out what fits in your budget and go for it.
