Why fluoro. instead of a co-polymer line?

When throwing a jerk bait most of the time I want my bait suspending for sometimes several seconds. A fluoro line sinks this allows the bait to be fished without rise in the bait and smaller line allows it to be fished a tad bit deeper.

My main jerk bait is a weightless fluke... It won't walk the dog the way I like on anything but mono I use 12 lb big game... Casts a mile and has the perfect stretch I want... Stretch helps the action for me... And the stretch adds to more hookups when they blow up on it rather than jerk it out of their mouth... But to each their own....

Flukes spin too much with fluoro and the mono allows a better action because it goes limp where as the fluoro stiffness affects the bait. I love flukes, but most people don't have te patience to go weightless at any depth, I won't fish it more than 12 ft, or at least not if doesn't produce quick. Mean green has been good with the flukes also 12 or 15 lb depending on cover

I use fluoro. because of the increased sensitivity it has for a weightless bait. I can feel lighter bites that way. I use 15# Invizx. I also fish the mag fluke anywhere from 3-30 ft of water.

Thanks for all the replies, I have a new spool of Sun Line 10lb I got during the TW Christmas sale. Going to spool that on and give it a shot.
