Hey all, It has been awhile since I was on this forum but boy do I love it. So the family and I are headed to Orange Beach, AL in early August. While my wife and daughters plan to lie on the beach, I am hoping to do a private fishing charter. I do not want a party boat but just a private charter for me and 3 others. Don't really care the type of fishing, just want to be out on the water catching something and not taking fish off for other people (like you end up doing on most party boats)! Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Reel Kill. Capt Mike knows where they hide. You can book him direct or through Outcast Charters. Been out with him twice and had a great trip both times.
Razzorduck Better tighten that drag boy, He's gonna spool ya!

Mustang06 - Just got back from three weeks at Destin, which is about 70 miles farther east than Orange Beach. Last year we spent several weeks at Orange Beach and searched high and low for the same info. If you have not already checked out the following sites, you might as they contain a lot of info about the area, including charter info. Good luck. You still have a lot of time to prepare if needed. http://www.gulfshorespierfishing.com/forum.phphttp://www.pensacolafishingforum.com/

Captain Ty Fleming, he's been guiding down there for at least 30 years, good guy, good time, lots of fish.

mvpsteve, do you know if Capt Ty has a site or what marina he operates out of? I will check and see if I can find anything online. Thanks for the info!

His boat is called White Caps, and he is on Facebook and has a website. Side note, once upon a time, he was the mayor of Orange Beach, AL. Check Ty's Landing, Orange Beach, AL.
