ah no sir. But I would go with Helix as it is the 'new' and supported line. My 1199's are now discontinued ( UNBELIEVABLE !!) considering I just got them last year and what I paid. I'll be honest, one was about $2400 and the other was about $2200.
Anyhow, back to your original question:
Buy as much as you can afford and my advice is buy NEW !
Does that help at all ?
God Bless

You cant network the helix with the retired core series so keep that in mind. Also the helix 5,7 do not have networking capability. The helix 9,10,12 can be networked.

Yes you can network the Ethernent capable Helix units with the Ethernet capable legacy models and with the ONIX also.
With an ONIX you can only share waypoints.

The Helix units are just the next generation of number series units. They ran out of numbers after 899, 999, and 1199.

Yup, Onix is on the Cat...we added a new boat, so it got a new graph, thumb

Cool! Would really like to hear your opinion on a comparison of the the two (Onix 10 vs Helix 12). If I get the Helix 12 sounds like it won't be hard to find a buyer for my 1199.
