I've never heard anyone trying to replace the stock hooks on a SK bait. You won't be disappointed in a Owner Stinger #2 round bend. Just my unbiased opinion. They are sticky sharp!
I'd maybe go for some mustad triple grips if they were REALLY eating it, but the round bend is the best overall.

I know it sounds crazy but the stock hooks have just enough give that they will bend but will not pull loose on large fish with the right amount of drag.

8 plus. Weighed in a 43.40 pound stringer in basschamps at Falcon a few years ago on them. I'm sure I'm not half the angler you are but just wanted to know what brand the hooks were.

I wasn't trying to talk trash, I've just never heard of anyone wanting hooks to bend out at all, that to me, would feel like I'm setting myself up for disaster when the big un comes along... As I strip off the stock hooks, i'll gladly save them and mail them to you, I have no idea who makes them. Sorry.

If your serious about that offer I will trade the Gamakatsu hooks that come on the Spro DDs. Probably have about 30 of them right now.

I believe they use Daiichi Death Grip hooks. I'll see if I have any I've removed and take you up on the Gammys too. If I do I'll shoot you a PM.

Call SK and ask. I bet they use Mustad hooks on all their baits.
