Getting ready to mount a RAM mount (D-178) to console of Z7. My question is "what size screw/bolt should be used to secure it to the console?"

Think I used 1/4 inch. stainless screws, washers and lock nuts from auto parts store or tractor supply. The screws that came with my mount were too short.

Whatever the mounting holes measure. Yes, fill the hole with as big a bolt as it will take.
