Todd you missed your calling in life. You should have been an outdoor writer! As usual excellent post. We started the day at McDonald's and had a nice breakfast and conversation. This was Steve and Ron's first time to go with Matt. I told them all week. Be ready because this will be a special trip. It always is with Matt. I echo what Todd said. Matt is a like a machine and a beast out there! He hunts those fish like he's hunting down the last fish in the lake. At 3:00 PM Ron said to Matt, "I think we've had enough. Could we head in?" I wasn't ready to but Ron is 80 and it was a long beat down all morning in the wind and waves. Ron told me, "Frank I've fished with guides all over the world. Matt is incredible. He would have fished until dark I think..." Then Steve had the quote of the day. Around 2:30 Steve says, "Matt I think your going to need a bigger cooler chest!" That thing was filled to the brim. And like Todd said we threw a bunch of fish back since we already had so many. That is called an "abundant" blessing. Lastly tell your wives, girlfriends or yourself. I'm giving myself a Guide trip with Matt for Christmas. You've been good this year treat yourself. It will be the best present you get this year. Go out with the "Fish Whisperer." Watch how the fish listen to his call.
