What do you think is the ultimate brush to drop in slip to attract and KEEP Crappie?
Do you honestly think the $400 underwater green light works in our fresh water lakes?
Thanks in advance!

IS the green light going to be hooked up to a timer and one everynight?

$400 dollar light? Make your own for about $20 with led strip lights on ebay. What do you think is the ultimate brush to drop in slip to attract and KEEP Crappie?

I do know what worked here for brush in a slip. i cut bamboo off the highway access and stuck them in the mud under our slip... I used a capped 3" pipe to help get them in the mud, only used the poles, almost no jig hang ups and the shad/crappie hung around them... If you want to be sneaky, cut them so they are not showing above the water line
I would not pay $400 for any light for fishing
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Light does come with a timer GFCI circuit and is like 28000 lumens.

I run a portable 12 volt Green LED light. It works if there are baitfish in the area. The whole premise is the light draws in the plankton/microscopic critters and in turn draws in the baitfish. If you can set it up on the timer and have it on 7 days a week you should be able to draw in the baitfish. If the fish are there they will show up as well.
Some lights are regular bulbs with a green filter on them. These lights are not suppose to work as well as a true green LED so take that into consideration.

The lights are well worth the money in my opinion but to each his own... Let me know if you have any questions about them and I'll be happy to answer. Good luck!

That's my light....unreal how bright it was underwater. I'm gonna start selling them! It must have spread over 15' in a circle. I couldn't believe it. Within 20 minutes there was a ton of bait fish around it

I personally would go with a mix of cedar and willow, willow being my top choice.

Bamboo has quickly became my top choice of brush. Holds fish very good and is hard to get hung up in.
