Determined to beat lockjaw syndrome, I think yesterday's creativity delved into the brink of insanity: Some 32nds: 16ths: This is what happens when I get new material and my wife forces me to an evening of movies; I just bring my vise to the living room and "watch the movie" with her.

Neat. More weight for sure to get deep quick but not for brush piles I presume.

I like them Jerry, and they remind me of a jig I fish that I called a swivel tail shad. Its easy to tie but takes a little time, I don't have any of them right now. But Ward Bean does the same one as a fly and he calls his a jointed minnow. If any one wants to look at it he has a video on YouTube. Remember Ward does his as a fly so it is upside down for a jig hook. A spinner blade can be added in the same way as the jig tail.

This is two 32nd jigheads tied together, old-fashion-style. Bent one to the right and the other to the left, just behind the heads. Getting them saddled up (in the vise) took as long as tying them.. hah! I did a few more double jigs that I'll post later or tomorrow. I also checked out Ward Bean and some of his videos.. .. .. what a neat guy he is. Can you imagine how many flies that man has tied?! So much respect to a man like that.... EDIT: almost forgot.... the pink/blue/chart (pictured above) did really well this morning (yep, was finally able to fish)!
