I actually found this video a bit helpful when using flukes. Makes you want to make sure you are being patient and working it slow. Hope this helps someone

I fish a fluke a lot and I would say just as with a jerkbait, most strikes come while it is sitting still.

Does what it should. Pause, let it fall, pop it hard on a slack Line and it will do a complete 180.

That's generally when I get most of my bites as well. Usually they just slam the bait I fish a fluke a lot and I would say just as with a jerkbait, most strikes come while it is sitting still.

Thanks for sharing... I'm really curious what one looks like on a crig. I've been catching fish on it and all have come on me dragging it across the bottom instead of lifting up on the rod.

Thanks for sharing... I'm really curious what one looks like on a crig. I've been catching fish on it and all have come on me dragging it across the bottom instead of lifting up on the rod. +1 on this. I've had a lot of success as well dragging a fluke on a Carolina rig. Always wondered what it looks like crawling across the bottom.
