I accidentally kicked my switch panel on the front of my boat. It's plastic and can't be repaired. I own a cobra so calling them is not an option. Is there anyone in the Dallas area that can build one?

There are a couple of options. Both Starboard and Lexan are easy to work with standard wood working tools. Also, someone may make one that will fit your cutout or the cutout can be enlarged. I would start with Blue Sea and Marinco.

Ya might want to think of having a machine shop make ya one out of aluminim. Powder coat or have it anadized. You can use a router to make it if ya have steady hands (special bits a must). As you can tell I make my own I need to invest in a mill and make them for everyone.

Javalina in Frisco can do it. They make all our panels for the equipment we build. They can do stainless, aluminum, lexan and will power coat in any color. They also have a YAG laser and can burn letters into the stainless.

I made a new bezel out of 3/16 phenolic material for the gauges on my boat when I swapped the speedo for a round radio that required a bit smaller hole. I also used it making new gauge and switch panels for my hot rod.
The phenolic tools with normal wood working tools, and is basically impervious to moisture while not being conductive. It is amazingly strong for its thickness too. It's available in natural (brownish color) and black (more of a carbon fiber look). It is paintable too. You can order it online in just about any thickness you want.

That is an awsome material it is used in electric transformers, high voltage switches, and non conductive tools for hot work. It is strong yet flexible good choice for sure.
