Well my new 1oz trap looked great until I dipped it and the paint started pealing guess I'll be stripping it down and starting over since it's the only one I ordered to test out.

i kinda like the look with the wrinkles. more realistic. if it hardens that way i'd leave it alone.

Put the sealer on it and if it holds up, I will take it for Mexico. I believe the color is OK for down there. You will get lots of pictures from the trip.
Tried to send a PM.; check your over the limit. Thanks, Donald

Got that body style trap in a smaller version...that body style catches lots of bass . When you kill the retrieve it darts down head first and doesn't roll like a lot of rattle baits do. The 1oz. models are very popular up north...sold a bunch of them on eBay last year. Man I hate it when the finish coat wrinkles the paint. My experience with patterns wrinkled that way is that the paint breaks off easily around the wrinkled area. Might be best to redo the pattern...nice paint by the way.

Really nice ! Is that sepia, or a copperish color ? My phone sometimes renders colors a bit off. Looks sepia mostly.

The back color is a mix of 5 different colors of pearl and iridescent with a pearl blk shading over the top. I mix a bunch of colors on most of my baits and have to keep a notepad at my paint bench to keep up with the mix ratios
