The throat and belly would that need to b the 1st section i paint if its gunna be diffrent color than rest of the crank?

Typically that's how I start but it could depend on your color and how your spraying it example if I do a free handed chartreuse stripe down the side but I'm doing a pearl white belly. I'll do the stripe first and then the belly over it so I can blend them better

Depends a lot on the blank itself. Thin jerkbaits tend to overspray on the sides easily...fat belly cranks not so much. As for me I usually work from back to belly trying to minimize overspray as much as possible. texas
