Just wanted to post about my new boat. I know this thread is worthless without pictures, I will post some later. I have had the boat about a month now and have had it out several times and so far, I am impressed. First of all with the stability, by myself there is little to no rocking of the boat. With some of my buddies, some of them a little on the big side, there is some movement, but never felt uncomfortable. Second, the front deck space. This thing fishes huge, at times it feels bigger than the Ranger 188 I had. We use the three across seating and never once did I hear "your touching me" or anything like that. There is plenty room for rods, tackle boxes, minnow buckets, I mean I am impressed with the deck space. Thirdly, the ride. It is smooth and it handles the chop I have been in extremely well. I have no complaints with the ride of this boat. The only real issue I have with the boat is that the back storage compartments leak bad when it rains. The only other thing that might be an issue with some is the speed I am getting. I have not gone wot and probably never will, that is not me. I have a 115 Merc 4 stroke and I cruise at 30 mph (gps) and that is fine with me. The fastest I have had it up to is 40 mph. I read that some were getting up to 50 and 51 out of similar boats, but I didn't go that fast in my Ranger, and won't in the Triton either. At 30 it rides good, the motor sounds smooth and it handles chop nicely. So I am impressed and when fishing with friends I love the 3 across seating. I also like the new electronics, but that is another story. Will post pictures later. And yes, it has been slimed already.
later...don

Congratulations on the new boat Don. I'm sure it will serve you well. Slim it up every chance you get.
