Today I had Rob and Wayne from Katy, out on Lake Somerville for a beautiful morning. Took pictures of the moon going down in the west and one of the sun coming up at the same time.

Water is five foot higher than it was a week ago, and still rising. We searched six spots, found fish at some and none at others.
They ended the morning with 50 nice cats to 5 1/2#.

All fish caught on CJ's crawdad punch bait, using corks, in 5-12 foot water (this water was 1-8 foot a week ago).

Mother nature always seems to be throwing curve balls at Lake Somerville. Congratulations on overcoming this sudden change :-)
