Any sizable tournaments on Fork next weekend(10/31)? Not seeing any listed. Son going to be in town and have a rare opportunity to spend a couple days with him. Planning on Fork Friday & Saturday but would go w/different plan if heavier crowds were going to be there. I know it's a big lake with plenty of room but I usually don't include myself in the crowds. Thanks, 361v.

Lake Fork Marina's website has an extensive list of all the major events on the lake. Check it out.

I assure not all guides have a anti tournament agenda. But the relentlessness on fork is kinda crazy. If there is not one next week this will be the first weekend that there hasn't at least been a club or some kind of event since the spring. In the guide tourney all fish are caught, weighed on a hand scale and released immediately. Not quite the same.

10/31 there is a real good benefit tournament out of Lake Fork Marina being put on to benefit a young lady that was in an accident. Lots of guide (15) trips up as the main prizes plus and whole bunch of other good stuff. I believe the entrance is $100.
Look for "Fishing for Lo" on here somewhere to get sign up info.

That's right. I can't believe I forgot that was next weekend. That is a good deal, hope to see good turnout and lots of money generated.
