It's been a long but successful football season thus far and I am due for a little lake life this weekend. I've never fished grapevine and am planning on heading there Saturday. Trying to get some tips on this lake. Where to launch, are they deep or shallow, points or coves, and bait choices possibly? I would appreciate any help.

Drive around into the coves and once you see bait fish on the graph, stop, throw a rattle trap. You will catch them nearly every cast when you find them.

There is literally fish everywhere! Brent said it well! But pull up onto any point on the outer 1/2 of any cove and on main lake with a 3/16 shakeyhead with a watermelon trick worm and just catch the hell out of them! Now the big ones are another story... But shouldn't have any trouble catching 20+ fish in the 1-3lb range

Coves!! Frogs early mornings and +1 on the rattlers!

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.
