My lightweight cover lasted longer than everybody said it would....... By about 2 months I had inquired about boat covers from several guys and they all gave me the same contact. I knew my boat was going to be an issue for a custom cover that was trailerable, as my seats don't fold down & the Ulterra TM sticks over the front of the bow of my boat. I called Mike Layne, I had picked up his business card at J&J Marine to get a 2nd quote as I already knew what the other guy charged. After a quick conversation with Mike, I knew he was going to get my business. There was no levels of pricing for different materials, as he stated he would only use the best quality available. The only disadvantage to using Mike was that he's not mobile, but since he's in Lindale and agreed to meet us in Mineloa, that proved to be a non-issue. When we met with Mike, he asked what color I wanted, Belinda quickly stated she wanted it the maroon like the pin stripping on the boat. We met Mike in Mineola yesterday evening and as he rounded the corner with my boat in tow, I was immediately impressed. He had made pockets for the seats to go into, which he explained that he had done to reduce the amount of wind flapping and pockets forming that would collect rainwater. On the drive back home, I couldn't see it flapping in the wind at all Mike told me that if I had any issues at any time in the future, he would resolve it free of charge....hence, a Lifetime warranty If anybody is thinking about having a custom cover for their boat made or need some boat or RV upholstery done, give Mike a call: 903-360-7983 P.S. The price was LOWER than what others paid even with the extra work that was involved....All critical areas of contact are double material reinforced

can you give a ballpark idea of what it cost for your boat so we can know if its in our price range.. ? 200.00 400.00 600.00?
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Very nice!!
Is the cover vented? I ask because when the humidity is high for a few days, moisture will collect in the boat. Make sure to take the cover off when the weather clears and let both the backside of the cover and the interior of the boat dry.

can you give a ballpark idea of what it cost for your boat so we can know if its in our price range.. ? 200.00 400.00 600.00? It was $500. The material is very tough and heavy. We took it off this morning to put my stuff back in the boat and it was almost more than I care to lift. I'm very pleased with the finished product!!!! I had to get in the boat to slide the seat pockets over the seats, but it wasn't a big issue. I've already thought that I will have to air it out every so often, but hey, you gotta go fishing every so often

I drove by your place earlier and I saw it from the road. I was like DANG Todd got a new boat. Good to know it is just a new cover. I like your boat and would have been sad that you sold it and I didn't have a chance to put my bid in
