My boat got pulled over not one, not two, but THREE times this morning in the span of 30 minutes by 3 different DPD and game warden blue light flashing boats. See the boat pics below. Lol. They were out in force training the new guys. They asked to see boat registration card, fire extinguisher, life jackets, fishing licenses, horn/whistle . And we did that three times!!! I've only been checked once in the last 10 years? Lol. Also the odd thing was I did not see any other boats got checked? Hmmmm... hmmm

Anyway, fishing was ok this morning. LadiesMan and I was on the water from 7am to 1pm. Launched at Chaha. Went to 3rd buoy, RP, jetty, power point, white rock...NADA! Caught 2 whites at gravel pit. Too many yellows at burnt bridge. Nada at rush creek, yankee, RP, HH, 30 bridge. Too many yellows at iron horse. Then at 11 we went back to 3rd buoy and it was good catching for 2 hrs but most were small whites, baby hibbies, tons of yellow and 5 good magnums. I did snagged a 20 lb blue kitty by the tail. After 5 to 10 minute fight, Ray almost scooped her in the net but the second try she shooked off free. Lol. Anyway, we left em biting cuz it was hot with zero winds today.

Water temp 80 degrees. Catching depth 15 to 22 ft. Mostly slabs. The Moe's SSS slab was hot this morning. It's extremely rare day that I out fish Ray. Lol

Some pics from this morning...

That's crazy Todd! Great report and some good fishing! I'm gearing up for some exciting dead sticking this winter! Can't wait!

Lol, that's funny, Gene! It was all good, guys. Ray and I assisted them in the newbie training. Each boat had about 4 to 5 guys and at least 2 to 3 are new on the job. First boat came up to us while we were anchored at yankee. Second boat flagged us down from behind midway to RP. Third boat was coming from 30 as we head to HH. They were all nice gentlemen trying to do their jobs. I was just surprised they picked me 3 times while they passed other boats. And I talked to a few regulars and none were checked. I thought about picking up a lottery ticket on the way home roflmao

You were not the only one! My friend called me right after he got checked by two boats at the same time. Same thing for him. The also ask if they could use his inflatable life jacket to show the new guys how they work.

Todd, they must not have had anything better to do. I once got checked twice by the same GW within 30 minutes on Lavon. Guess he really wanted to find something to give me a ticket for.
