I need to find a small outboard for the 10 footer I just bought. I can see where I want to
fish but its a 1/4 mile of open water into the South wind to get there.

I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

I moved to Kansas City and had to learn a new local home fishing hole.

So far I have caught three bass 22" plus.

The 1st one weighted 4.8 pounds, the second, 5.6 pounds and the third, 6.1 pounds.

Back down in Texas them fish would weight 7 pounds plus.

I miss that part of Texas.

I will take some pics of the bass hunter so you can see what it looks like now. It's starting to get long in the tooth.

Look for something in the 3-4 hp range. More the better. If high winds pickup you'll appreciate that extra power to get you back.

If the fish don't bite your not baiting right...

Nice.

Lets see the Hunter!

What will you do if she cracks up like my old one did? Mine last 25 years. You clearly use yours more then the owner I got mine from.

The EX is nice, but man its heavy and the rod storage is a joke. If I could go back I would have gotten the smaller Hunter, the one with the gunnels to keep rods from going in the drink.

I caught another one today. That's three in three trips.

The boat is taking on water so I am going to have to fix it.

I should have some pics soon.

Can you post some pics of how you mounted your rod holders for trolling?

What were your tips on that again?

I need to get mine set up soon.

I agree with you Dan on the EX. I wish I would have gotten the basic model...less weight and much better rod storage.

Nice fish FFM...glad to see someone is actually getting to do some fishing.
