Looking at adding a Dobyn crankbait Rod to my collection. Just curious what crankbait Rod the Dobyn lovers are using. Max will be 1oz weight.

Dobyns Champion Crankbait

I use 3 different models of the Champion Crankbait rods but if I had to pick 1 rod for a "do it all" I'd go with the 705 cb. It's a 7'0 ft rod, lightweight, sensitive and is just one of those rods that's a workhorse. I promise you won't be disappointed with the 705 cb.

Yes the 705 would be a great choice.

I still before the 8' CB RM rod. It is also a Champion, but that is for larger and medium baits. What are you wanting to throw on this CB rod? Everything, traps, deep, shallow, medium? That would make a difference whish rod might be most appropriate for you. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
