I have 3 baitcasting combos. 1 for T-rig plastics and jigs. 1 for spinnerbait, frogs, and occasionally a jig. And 1 more that I plan on using for crankbaits, lipless, pop-r's, and buzz baits. I currently have 12# mono on this one, but feel like I need to change for something with a little less stretch. What do you guys recommend? TIA
FYI I run braid with FC leaders on my other 2 setups, I have gotten very proficient with these setups and the different hooksets required for each type of lure.

Thanks for the input guys! I was leaning towards a stronger mono, just didn't know if it would flex just as much.

If you use braid I would use a lighter rod or back off the drag. Fluorocarbon doesn't float so wouldn't be very good for top waters.

Part of being a kayak angler is being versatile. I don't have the ability nor the money to have 10 combos with different reel speeds, line types, and rod types. So I have 3 BC and 1 spinning outfit.
