What a great way to spend a couple hours yesterday afternoon, weather couldn't have been better and the fish were feeling good too! For a little mudhole, it can sure be fun lake at times. Fish were in 8-12ftw and more than willing to take a Mr. Crappie salt and pepper shadpole on a 1/16 unpainted jighead. Once again my little helper wouldn't let me clean fish without him.

Nice haul, where did you catch them brush, bridge, timber or boat docks? Was wondering what lake Weatherford consisted of.thumb:

Was wondering what lake Weatherford consisted of.thumb: Creek channel ledge with a little scattered brush, been there all summer. The lake is old and silted in for the most part. Man made structure is pretty much the only cover in the lake. Good crappie population, but your chance of catching a 3 is slim to none. Doesn't grow'em big, but it grows a lot of them.

Good job. I haven't got anything at the Marina since June. Maybe I will try again! Thanks for posting.
