Just curious, Would it not help to stock these lakes that have zebra mussels with redfish and black drum? They are shell crackers and they are insanely fun to catch. Maybe they won't eat the mussels, I don't know just a thought.

A friend caught a few drum at RR and he said they were full of zebra mussels. i doubt the drum can eat all of them.

The water gets too cold for redfish to stay alive in a lake such as Ray Roberts. Some power plant lakes have been good for redfish.
