My fishing buddy had gone on a trip to Alaska. The lucky dog. He said salmon fishing has nothing on crappie catching. So we hit the lake to goof around, try some different spots and baits. Fun trip as always. Fun is the number one priority. First things first... we both caught a toad. By both I mean check this pic out. Has anyone ever had this happen? I realed it up so it's mine right? Best depth. Bow electronics pic. Different BoneHead Tackle baits and colors used. All fish under 11" were released. Let's not forget the Slab Slobber

Uh the guard keeps the hook from snagging on brush -timber-limbs etc.I sometimes fish 4 or 5 trip ith the same jig especially if you use brerkly fused braid.Darrell

Why don't they call it a brush guard?

Why don't they call it a brush guard? Dang I baited the hook, tossed it out there and you beat me to the punch. DW you need to feed that mule.
