I can get to RC in 30min from my house, but I just keep driving past it to get to CC in an hour. What does that tell you about the RC crappie bite. sick

Fished the 287 bridge about 2 weeks ago and did not catch a keeper crappie....
Talked to Jerry (owner of Oak Cove) and he said the crappie guys that live on or close to the lake is catching just a few per/trip. He does not know what the deal is.
My best luck is in the timber around Hickey Island.
Always next year.

Crappie fishing... what else is there ??
