How is the fishing on possum kingdom lake? what depth is the best? What time of the day is it best to use jigs? will topwater work very well?

welcome! Right now, the best time is right at sunup, or sunset. Shad or deep trolling. Topwater might work somewhat at sunup or sunset. It is kinda slow now.

Lots of small stripers and sand bass activity early. Morning seems to have more activity than in the evening.I have found some stripers on very shallow points chasing minnows and shad. The water has become very clear. White or crystal ice lures seem to work best now.
