Decided to try something a little different on BB yesterday. I went out after dark and took the green underwater fishing lights. I settled up around some exposed stumps in Richardson Slough---attracted lots and lots of bait fish, but no game fish. Did have one bite over in this area, but lost it (not sure if small fish or big fish). Then moved over to the bubbles near the dam---not as much bait fish over there. But still got nothing. No bites, no activity. I figured this method might work given the summer time heat and the dropping pressure, but I was wrong. Skunked again. Still not sure what to do on Benbrook.

If there is still water in it in Dec. and Feb. troll the humps on the coldest day you can stand. Bet you can catch fish then. Just pot luck until then.
