How's the water color is it still red or has it cleared up

It is clearing up all over the lake but the east side is a lot clearer than the west.

Highport is the only ramp I know is open.

You can launch at Grandpappy right now too, FYI there is no courtesy dock nearby. Highport has a tiny one set up. I went out day before yesterday fished for a few hours at sunset, caught 1 under smallmouth. Honestly I was just glad to be on it again, thought it would be trashed out much longer than this. Its not too bad and the clear water we are used to shouldn't be too far off

You can launch at Grandpappy right now too, FYI there is no courtesy dock nearby. Highport has a tiny one set up. It would be hard to keep a working courtesy dock with a strong north wind blowing in there. Oh, and that water was up to the parking lot up above the road to go to the ramp. They were launching off the top of the road going to the ramp at 638.
