I'm headed there with some family this weekend and I've never been. TPWD says the whites and catfish are good. Any one have any info on it? I know it was flooded and closed recently but everything is supposed to be back open by the time we get there.

I bet that lake is a mess right now with all the flooding. Better check before you go.

The lake has been closed since last weeks rain, but should open soon if not today. Finding the fish after the lake was so high may be hard. They all may be down stream. Just kidding. Good luck hope you find them.

Thanks guys! I don't mind fishing flood waters. I've always caught my biggest catfish during floods.
