I'm taking the family to Port A in a few weeks. I'm thinking about setting out a crab trap for a few days. Are there places to do this? This trip is a FAMILY trip and suspect we'll only be fishing as much as the kids can handle. I'll be untangling lines and fighting hard heads the whole time. It'll be perfect family fun!

There's a pay pier that we've gone to a couple times & set crab nets. Went on to Google maps & the name coming up is "Red Dot Pier". http://www.reddotpier.com/ The prices struck me as reasonable, and it was nice enough as fishing piers go, especially since we were mostly crabbing rather than fishing.

Try the piers at Charlie's Pasture, Roberts Point Park, and at the end of Station St. They are all lighted and free. However, they can get crowded at times.
