I've never seen grown men whine so much, or act like women and get jealous over each other. Leave that stuff off, were men hear to talk about fishing and tips and buying stuff we don't need, not oh yeahhhh well I caught a 30lb bass in 1foot of water on a purple grub the other day

Caught one that might of went 1/2 a lb! Dad didn't even want to keep it. Went deeper after that and only caught one barely slot fish (story of our lives!). Rest of the day was hot and pretty much sucked!

We started off fishing shallow. Caught a 15 incher on a square bill. Caught another on a drop shot shallow. Had a couple blow ups on top water. Then moved out to 20 ft of water fishing points the rest of the day. Caught all the rest of our fish on a drop shot. Caught 10 keepers all day and no slots... Lost one with 10 minutes left in finishing time that sure could have helped...... Over all a slow day but we stayed with it. Other than loosing the one fish we fished clean all day.

We weighed in the 5 fish for 2.74 lbs. we had a dead fish that we could not cull but followed the rules, kept it and weighed it in. The dead fish was 11" and cost us but rules are rules. We caught all our fish (9 of them) in 2 to 3 feet in the flooded willows down by the dam.

Craziest thing I've ever seen,..grown men in boats that cost a years salary for many people. trying to catch little fish... Almost as crazy as recreational anglers in the same boats trying to catch the same size fish...

i LIKE slot events, adds more to the game, or at least changes the game a little... Though the slot at fork is TOUGH. I like the Ivie slot WAY better.... Also you have the option to win "smallest under". Buddy of mines dad weighed a while back in a sandwich baggy lol... won some sunglasses lol

Just wonder for those that posted and caught fish were they all in 20 to 25 or any shallow? Most of the limits came from shallow finesse.. including most of the overs. That being said there were fish being caught out deep as well and some good checks made. 15-25 feet.
Take Dead Aim I'd rather be lost on the water than found at work! SkeeterEater

Nice job Rockie on a good limit on a ruff day for many, the guides didn't fair to well Ken. Bless their hearts...LOL. The slot is what it is no doubt...We missed a ck by a pound, had a limit of green lil pickles...
