Sorry the corps will not allow any ramps to open at this time but if you own a boat slip you can be on the lake which is total BS

Little Elm was the last to close I think, so I would guess it would be the first to open once the lake comes down enough.
This space for rent

According to a letter us Shady Shores residents got about our flooded road says they are expecting the lake to take 70 days from July 16th to reach conservation pool. They will not open the lake until all repairs are made. Basically stated with no additional rainfall they are looking at early October at the earliest.

Just walked up to towerbay ramp. Road to ramp is about 3/4 out of water now. Needs to drop 2 or 3 more feet for the ramp to be useable. The amount of trash is unreal cleanup will take a week. At least the styrofoam particles will be cleaned off now. Corps is only holding the corps ramps from what I read, city ramps will open when useable.
Woke up this morning Got yourself a gun....

I drove several places this morning looking for a place to drop. Eagle Point opened the old unused ramp way in the back but you have to rent a slip. They have a guy sitting there calling Pro Tow all day, I asked him a ton of questions, short story is you may be able to drop the boat but not leave the truck. I found multiple parking lots that are flooded making great ramps but parking the truck would be iffy.
On a positive note, the lakes have cleared up and look GOOD! Time to take the man power kayak out instead of the 200hp kayak.
I WANT MY BOAT IN THE WATER!!!

No ramps will open until the corps releases them back to the cities. They will take a least 2 weeks after the water has receded from them to dry out before damage assessments can be made and plans to fix them. They cant open them right after the water has lowered until that is done. Still a few weeks out. sucks that the only people that can use the lake is the ones renting slips!! they only pay for the slips not the water.
