I'm calling it a fishing hat-trick.
The goal is to catch a limit of catfish, sand bass and crappie in one day.
25 catfish 25 sand bass 25 crappie
Has anyone ever done this before?

That's a lot of ketch-n!
Off topic, but seasonally relevant ...
I made a goal on July 4th a few years back to catch bass on a red, a white, and a blue lure. Called it my "flag slam"
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

Cats are my specialty, they are the easiest for me. I would probably have to do it on more than one lake though.

Would also probably need to be in a boat. Would lose too much time paddling between spots

Hmmm, midnight 'till midnight? I think you could do a lot of things to up the odds. First, keep a hole baited for the catfish. Night lights might be good for Sandies while it's dark. Bait the catfish hole near where you expect to find Crappie. I think it's possible. You'll be exhausted though!
