I opted to not mount any. In my Bass Baby, I simply lay them on the side "trays", 5 or 6 on each side - usually 3 facing forward, 3 facing back, on each side. I simply go through to much thick brush to use rod holders.

Thanks for the response i don't really have anywhere tight to run through i just was thinking i may be able yup add One on every corner. I figured I'd have to find some kind of screw anchor yup use to mount them.

I just mounted a Scotty anchor system and I know they are interchangeable with rod holders. I plan on putting some on my boat when I get a chance. I want like a spider rig set up since I crappie fish a lot.

Maybe molly screws will hold a pipe or board in areas where there is foam backing? I use simple "U" bolts 5/16" or greater bolt diameter with the U to fit the rod handle and mounted to a board or pipe on my pontoons. The fish rod butt is placed into the U cradle and adjusted to fit just right and thus serves as the rod holder with the boat side for lower support.

Hey thanks! I hadn't thought of Molly anchors. I really appreciate it. Next up quill be a fish finder. I'll need to figure how to mount the transducer.

Hey thanks for the link bud! I'm sure i can find some pvc. I'll check into that transducer mount. Still debating on a fish. Right now lowrance looks to be the best on the market.

I cot holes in the tops of my pontoons, and mounted "kayak style" flush mount rod holders down both sides. sealed with marine goop, and attached with yak gear tri-rivets. This has worked great for me, as I drift alot for cats!
