Fishing Marine Creek for the first time(LMB). Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Also I heard the lake is pretty much void of structure other than the dam rip rap?

Lock your truck/car and keep it in your sight. Watch out for skiers. You wont get a lot of bites, but the ones you do get could be a beast. Theres 13+ caught on a regular basis according to some.

There are some laydowns on the northers part. Also some good grass along the west bank.

I normally fish over by the ski jump area. Last weekend, I parked at the boat ramp then walked around to the north along the walk and fished that bank on the far side. There is some vegetation there.

So, advice? Fish slow. I normally fish a weightless worm, slow, but this past visit I drop shotted off this other bank, caught 2 and missed one more over about 2 hours. Early evening fishing seems okay. Size? Mine were small at around a pound or less.
